Why don't you ever share your daughter/husband's names?
This is my blog, not theirs -- neither of them get any say over what I write about here. As a result, I want to give them some semblance of internet anonymity so they can always claim what I post isn't reeeeally about them. :) It gets hard sometimes, though, so one of these days I just might cave! update: totally caved -- you can find out here!
What did you decide about going back to work?
I'm making the plunge into full-time stay-at-home-motherhood! It's a little scary, but I'm happy to be in a place where we can afford for me to be here with our daughter while pursuing some of my own interests, like finishing a master's degree and working on my shop. I'm grateful that I won't have to miss any of those sweet baby moments, though I sometimes fantasize about wearing heels and having a quiet, uninterrupted lunch...
Are you sure that maintaining a vegetarian diet for your baby is a good idea? Doesn't she need protein?
Yeah, she totally does. We work pretty hard to make sure she's getting the nutrients she needs -- I track and monitor everything she eats to be sure she's staying healthy. A vegetarian diet is perfectly safe, so long as it's a well-balanced one (which is more than can be said about most "typical" American diets!)
