so slow, so fast.

Having a baby is like living in a time warp. These past 11 weeks have been so. agonizingly. slow. and yet I can't believe that she is 11 weeks old already! It's partly the sleep-deprived brain not comprehending things right, but I'm certainly not alone in feeling this way. The Today show is doing a big feature on "the secrets of motherhood," and I loved this confessional in particular. Despite overwhelming love for your child, it's hard to love parenthood when you're in the middle of the craziness -- even knowing full well that you'll look back fondly on these nutty times one day and wish you could rock your sweet little baby to sleep one more time.
