Tuesday randoms.
On my brain lately, in no particular order:
I'm already tired of wearing maternity clothes, and I've got around 20 weeks to go.
I really want to go to our library's "buck-a-bag" book sale. I wonder what I can bribe Lorelei with so that she'll let me look at titles for more than 42 seconds.
Why do people get so much pleasure out of writing spiteful comments on online newspaper articles or blog posts? Don't you have anything better to do?
Will I ever get used to showering at night? It makes my mornings feel so much more peaceful, but my hair...not that it looks great if I wash it in the morning, but still.
It's sweet, endearing, and a little bit funny that when Lorelei is really upset the only thing that will calm her down is hearing me sing. Last night, during a particularly bad meltdown for no apparent reason, she was clutching at me while gasping, sobbing, and screaming "Mama, yayaya, Mama, yayaya" and I could barely keep from laughing enough to start belting out something.
My craft room is thisclose to being organized! My fingers are itching to get started on making all of the inventory I need for May's big sale - I ordered all of my supplies last week and they're starting to arrive!
I'm really glad Passover is over, because going without bread products around here is nearly impossible.
Since my laptop is still not working and the replacement I'm using has basically no available memory, I can't download any new audiobooks to help get me through my housecleaning chores. I know, #firstworldproblems, but it's seriously making me crazy.
Why does it take sooooooo long to grow out your bangs?
What's on your mind today?
Oooh I love book sales! Unfortunately I have no words of wisdom for bribing little kids....I totally agree about growing out bangs--I feel like they don't stay at the perfect length for long enough, but they spend foreverrrr in the awkward not quite bangs, not quite long enough to NOT be bangs stage. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteI felt such a sense of relief when I gave all of my maternity clothes away recently, not because I don't appreciate the joys of pregnancy, but because the darn things were always so frustrating. Belly panels with runs, shirts that I swam in one week and poked out the bottom of another. Skirts that rode up. Nothing worked!
ReplyDeleteLorelei's love for mama's singing is precious! A can't decide what to think of my singing. I either get, "Sing that louder so I can hear better," or, "Mama, don't sing." ;)
So excited to see what you come up with for your big sale!
No kidding about the spiteful comments. I occasionally click on the comments on one of our area newspapers, and it seems like it's the same 2 or 3 people debating the "issue" at hand. I get so tired of their self-importance.
ReplyDelete20 weeks already? So crazy. I would love to hear about whether or not you're finding out the sex of the baby.
I love when Ethan asks me to sing for him...I'm so tonedeaf, but he makes me feel like I'm awesome, haha.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a nice Passover! I failed at the no bread thing. Oops. :(
