recap: my weekend at the Na-Da Farm Barn Sale

What a weekend! What a whirlwind! I have so many pictures to share with you from the Na-Da Farm Barn Sale, so I'll just jump right in:

Gorgeous, right? Friday night was a bit drizzly and windy, but Saturday was amazingly sun-filled and beautiful. It was such a pleasure to spend the weekend surrounded by such carefully curated displays and artfully constructed booths from great local crafters and shop-owners!

I was nervous about having my booth inside, because most of the other vendors there were very experienced and I knew that their displays would be picture-perfect. My mom and I worked all day Friday to get ready and were stymied a bit by gusty winds ripping down some of our displays - but we persevered and I think everything turned out! When some shoppers stopped to take pictures of my back wall design, I felt pretty proud :)

As far as my sales went, I was really happy to count up my receipts and realize I sold 55 items! That's about half of what I sold on Etsy for the entire last year, and it helped me to easily make up the booth fee and cost for display fixtures and U-Haul van rental to cart it all in ;)

My amazingly talented and patient mom spent the whole weekend with me, putting up with me being crabby from hunger, freaking out about the wind, and not being able to carry much from the van to my booth (or back again) - I couldn't have done it without her. Really.

(her book purses were a big hit!)

I'm excited to be back to my normal routine - both blog-wise and in real life - but it was an experience I'm so grateful to have had. Thanks for all your support of my efforts!
