Just one song this morning.
I officially resigned from my job on Friday. L helped me to celebrate by completely skipping her afternoon nap twice this weekend and screaming her head off at bedtime, then being up multiple times all night long. Bad sign? I did get some "I'm proud of you" sushi takeout from my husband. Here's hoping I made the right decision...
We are proud too! Even if L is giving you a hard time, nothing you can't handle! Wish I could help out with some yummy Indian take-out, maybe someday.
ReplyDeleteAh, congrats! I'm so incredibly jealous of any mom that can stay home with her baby, but happy for them at the same time. And that includes you. Soak it up, enjoy it, treasure even those moments when she's not sleeping. From what I hear, it goes by fast, and you'll miss this time when it's gone.
ReplyDeleteGood for your Courtney. I know it was a difficult decision with no right answer. I'm glad for you that you have the freedom to make the choice that felt right for your family. Congrats:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Courtney, I am so happy for you!! Oh and I love the beatles!
ReplyDeleteI know how hard that decision must have been. I did the same thing last summer after briefly going back to work. It was definitely the right decision for me.
ReplyDeleteHere's to a little rest! And peace of mind that all is as is should be. : )
you go, girl!
ReplyDeleteaww, thanks. :)
Deletei think it takes a lot of courage and confidence to do what you did! :)
